N5 Courses Course Structure
Target Students:
Teenagers and adults who have never studied Japanese before, or those who have completed approximately 0–90 hours of Japanese lessons.
Learning Objectives:
Gain a general understanding of basic Japanese, including the ability to read and pronounce basic Japanese characters (hiragana, katakana, voiced and contracted sounds, etc.). Be able to comprehend short, slow-paced conversations in daily life and extract key information from them.

Students who have completed the N4 course or approximately 240 hours of Japanese lessons.
Learning Objectives:
Gain a general understanding of Japanese used in daily life, be able to read concrete texts related to everyday topics, and grasp the main points of newspaper headlines. Comprehend slightly faster, more connected conversations in daily life.

Target Students:
Students who have completed the N3 course or approximately 360 hours of Japanese lessons.
Learning Objectives:
Gain a general understanding of Japanese used in a wider range of contexts, be able to read articles with clear main ideas in newspapers, magazines, reports, explanations, and reviews. Comprehend near-normal-speed, coherent conversations in most situations.
